Donor of the Month: AT&T Aspire

July 2, 2018

AT&T Aspire creates connections that drive innovation in education. Together, these connections are helping students and communities right here in Colorado, and all across America. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado is proud to have the support of AT&T Aspire. Together, we collaborate to help prepare students for high school graduation and beyond through our innovative mentor2.0 program.

AT&T and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado believe every student deserves opportunities to reach their full potential. By removing barriers, sparking innovative solutions, and making connections, together we help every student achieve a bright, successful future. Aspire & BBBSC bring together AT&T employees, nonprofits and community members to help equip students with the skills they need to lead the digital, global economy.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado is honored to have the support of AT&T and recognize AT&T as our July 2018 Donor of the Month. AT&T is a Founding Contributor of our mentor2.0 program- investing over $100,000 and supporting the continued growth of the program. Now, AT&T is also a Founding Contributor of our Bigs with Badges program, launching in 2018. In communities across the country, relationships between first responders, such as police officers, and the communities they serve are strained. The challenges are complex, and many feel that the solutions will always be out of reach. Through Bigs with Badges, BBBSC will use the power of mentoring to improve relations between first responders, youth, families and communities. The program has already been successfully implemented in more than 30 cities across the nation, but this will be the first program of its kind in Colorado.

In addition to funding support, AT&T and DirecTV employees volunteer as mentors and serve on our State Board of Directors and Associate Board of Directors. Thank you AT&T for all you do to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado and our proven one-to-one mentoring programs.
